I Wish

I Wish

From my pen, thousands of lines do flow, Without my will, they dance and grow.

I wish to be as silent as you. To write no more, To let my ink stay, Unspoken on paper’s shore.

If only you knew, The quiet wish I keep, To silence the voices, In my mind and let deep sleep.

Hide the pain within my heart, Throw it into the ocean’s deep part. Let it rest where no one can find.

Oh, I wish my fingers would stop their wild dance, Let my mind find peace in a tranquil and trance.

S.Sarikaya
