Applies to this website and the Notes by Sirin mobile app
This page is maintained by Sirin Sarikaya to explain what personal data Creative Notes by Sirin collects and how it is used. It describes the controls visible in the app today; it is not a certification or an audit result.
See also the Data Safety declaration — the same data types, sharing and deletion answers submitted for the mobile app on Google Play.
What is collected
- Account details. If you create an account to write notes, your email address and an encrypted password (or your chosen sign-in provider) are stored.
- Newsletter details. If you subscribe, your email address plus the topics and frequency you selected are stored so the right issues reach you.
- Content you write. Notes, tags and images you upload. Notes stay private until you publish them.
Reading the published articles requires no account and no personal data.
What is not collected
No advertising identifiers, no third-party ad networks, no location data, no contacts, no microphone or camera access. The mobile app requests no device permissions beyond network access.
How it is used
Data is used only to run the site: to sign you in, to store the notes you write, and to send the newsletter you asked for. It is never sold or rented.
Where it is stored
The site runs on Lovable's hosting platform and stores data in a managed Postgres database with row-level access rules, so each account can only read its own private notes. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Your choices
- Update or cancel newsletter preferences any time on the newsletter page.
- Delete your account and all of its data yourself, at any time, from Studio → Account → "Delete my account". This removes your notes and note images, profile data, newsletter subscriber record and sign-in account immediately. You can also request a copy or deletion by email; requests are handled within 30 days.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and no data is knowingly collected from them.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page. For privacy questions, data requests, or to report a security issue, contact Sirin Sarikaya through the about page.
