Data collection and security
- Does the app collect or share any of the required user data types? Yes — the four types listed below.
- Is all of the user data collected by the app encrypted in transit? Yes (all traffic over HTTPS).
- Is any of the data shared with third parties, or used for tracking or advertising? No.
- Do you provide a way for users to request that their data is deleted? Yes — signed-in users can delete their account in the app (Studio → Account → “Delete my account”), which immediately erases notes, note images, profile data, the newsletter subscriber record and the sign-in account. Deletion by email request is also available and handled within 30 days.
- Optional by design: Accounts and newsletter subscriptions are optional. Reading published articles requires no account and no personal data. No advertising identifiers, no ad networks, no location, contacts, microphone or camera access.

Reading without an account
Published articles can be read with no account and no personal data collected. Notes stay private to their author until the author publishes them.
