WHEREVER I AM, It’s The Centre Of The World

Traduciendo…

My adventure into the world of books began the moment I got to the code of the alphabet, with “Ali, catch the ball.” I’m not entirely sure if Ali managed to catch the ball, but I gave it my all, didn’t I?

I figured out how to link the letters and start reading. Then came along Heidi, Robin Hood, Nasrettin Hoca, and a whole host of other stories. I didn’t have Barbie dolls or video games to keep me entertained. Anyway, let’s not go into my childhood; I’m not in therapy. But writing and reading heal me just like therapy.

The most important part of reading is understanding the meaning of what you read; after all, to solve a maths problem, you first need to understand what you read.

Let me tell you about a few books that are always by my side:

The Celebration of Life - Norman Cousins

Winning with People - John C. Maxwell

The Book of Dog Poems - Sarah Maycock & Ana Sampson

Emotional Intelligence Inclusion - Harvard Business Review Press

And, here is the last book I’ve read:

Mathematics Is the Poetry of Science - Cédric Villani
