Wake Up

Wake Up

The reality is that today people's eyes have become blind and their ears deaf. They are completely unaware of the secret war raging around them.

Those who sell their souls for money or any other currency are oblivious to the wounds inflicted on their children. As henchmen of those waging war against your country, you are poisoning your own children, air, water and land. I'd like to share some personal experiences and observations.

After losing my home, I found myself in Balıkesir twice, staying at the same place each time. During my first visit, I met a young, sweet, kind and gentle girl working in the hotel restaurant. We chatted a few times in breakfast. A few months later, when I returned to the same place, I noticed wounds on her hands and arms. I asked her about them, but she couldn't really explain what had happened.

On my second visit, I went to a restaurant among the vineyards in Balıkesir. It was daytime and I was alone. I thought, "Thank god, there's no one, so no dirty games." Books all around me, vineyards in front of me… and a kind young girl. We started conversations; can you imagine a Sirin, not asking any questions? I was asking, and she was writing everything I said in a notebook, curious and open-minded. I asked her if her job was part-time and if she went to school. She said she couldn't go to school because she had to work. This story sounded familiar to me. I told her that my first job was also in a restaurant. As she continued to explain, I thought if McCathy and McBelgi stopped blocking me to finish my projects and stealing what I earned, helping kids and young people would be possible for me. I wanted to help her go back to school.

As I left, I thanked her for the service, the conversation, and the best pumpkin jam I'd ever had. She said she was very lucky to have had the opportunity to talk with me. However, I noticed that she had the same wounds on her hands and arms! When I asked her about them, she gave the same vague answers, saying they didn't know exactly what had happened.

Another day, I was on a flight from Istanbul to Paris. A young French girl sat by the window. I was seated in the aisle, and the middle seat was empty. She seemed to be looking at or showing me pictures on her phone. The photos appeared to depict her at a camp with many other young people. She wore double sweatpants and boots. Who was this girl and what was her purpose in Istanbul? About 40 minutes before landing, I couldn't resist asking questions. I discovered she was in Istanbul for Erasmus. I asked if she was happy there and she replied she was. Then I asked about security, comparing Paris and Istanbul. She said they were the same for her. I lost control and bombarded her with questions. I asked her what the most dangerous place on social media for her age was and she answered. I might have also asked a few questions about education and school hours in France. She was a respectful and polite girl who gave quite logical answers to everything. Interestingly, she also had the same wounds on her arms and hands. I asked her about them and she gave the same answers, guess and uncertainty.

And there was a grocery store worker here who delivered orders to this Airbnb in Northern Cyprus. When he delivered last order about 1.5 months ago, I saw wounds on his hands as well.

So, as you can understand, this secret war has already begun. The water from taps you wash your clothes and dishes with is poisoned, the fruits and vegetables you eat, the air is poisoned, they've even tried to pollute the sea…

The dictators and kingdoms you serve as mercenaries are first targeting your children. Wake up…
