How’s the weather there?

Today’s coded news story claimed she split England in two and over half the population agrees with her. However a minority judge disagrees.

Today it was 30 degrees here but I was freezing. I’ve developed wounds on my body for the first time. They started poisoning me in the Netherlands and continued in Turkey and Cyprus. Now my entire body is covered and I can’t see a doctor. I know something’s wrong with my blood; the poison is causing an infection and my body is reacting with these wounds.

I’m unwell as I write this. While you’re focused on national opinion you’re ignoring my suffering.

How do I forgive you?

How is the weather where you stand? I’m shivering cold in hot land... Do the Britains cast a judging eye, For writing tales of you, oh my?

Hmph, they are the ones who brought the pain, Stolen my life, like a thief in the rain... Do they long for the drizzle’s embrace? Belgium’s begun, it’ll reach their place.

Plenty of umbrellas, they hold tight, Staying dry, while I’m soaked through the day and night. Even my socks, drenched and cold, A tale of woe, silently told.

S. Sarikaya
