Strangers

A study published in the US suggests that 12-15-year-olds who use social media for three hours or more daily may develop serious mental health issues later in life. I believe this problem is much more widespread globally now.
These issues encompass mental and psychological problems such as depression, loneliness, and anxiety, as well as more serious concerns.
Everyone who knows me and my dog Snowy well says they wish they were him. This morning, while petting him in bed, I even thought the same thing.
The point is, people see the pure love I give Snowy and the time and devotion I dedicate to him. They notice how I adjust my plans and schedules for him, something most of us don’t do for our families. Ultimately, they want to be loved too.
In today’s world of social media, even within our own homes, people feel isolated and crave love.
We’re All Lonely.
So this morning, while walking Snowy, I realised I’m not the only one yearning for love. It seems everyone’s feeling it right now. (While this offers a small comfort, knowing I’m not alone is actually quite serious.)
If you still have time, love your loved ones as I love Snowy.
I hope you don’t become strangers living in the same house...
